The airport has a rich aviation history, being the first licensed airfield in Canada (1929). I feel a little pity for demolish the airport. But the city need to development, on the premise of kept the airport museum. I think demolish the airport is a good thing for city developmet.
I agree, I think the closure of the airport will be good for the revitalization of Edmonton!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I think that: With the development of the Edmonton, aviation technology improved and ways to improve airport operations. City Centre airport in terms of technology or mode of operation, it has already difficult to meet the we needs of contemporary urban development, though it represents the past history of aviation. But the city needs to develop, so we no longer need it, and Edmonton just has 1 million people so I think we don‘t need two airports, and now international airport in terms of technical or operational aspects of management are better than city centre airport. So I think we still need to close the city centre airport
ReplyDeleteGuess what! The lady at the museum reception severed in army during the war and she is not happy about the closure too, so am i.
